You loved me like her,
You may not have loved me for who I was,
But atleast, you did love me….
I watched you from a distance,
I kept you in sight
Your cries broke my heart,
the tears blocked my sight
Though oceans apart, you see
A red thread connects us,
the thread from my heart
You know none of this
Cuz you won’t hear my sad songs
So i'll slap on a smile
Add a little perkiness from a boost of coffee
And smoother on some perfection
You may not have loved me for who I was,
But atleast, you did love me….
